Falling flowers is a 4K video composed of animated digital scans of toilet paper floral decorations, layered with amateur video clips sourced from social networks, found web images of construction sites, footage extracted from 3D software during a failed attempt to generate a photogrammetric map of a landscape, and advertisements of perfect teeth.
The decorative motifs — mass-produced, functional, designed to naturalise the disposable — accumulate and fall, filling the projection field. They are joined by the found materials of contemporary image circulation: the algorithmic failure, the amateur document, the commercial surface.
The sound operates as a device of translation and disorientation, evoking a distorted perception of spaces. The video treats the floral image not as representation but as material — something that accumulates, sediments, and persists beyond its context of use.
