The work is conceived as a site-responsive installation that originates from commercially available gift wrapping paper. Sheets and rolls are applied directly to the wall with glue, joined with visible tape. The paper is installed sequentially, with excess material rolled, folds retained, and misalignments left unresolved. The decorative side faces the wall. A layer of linseed oil is then applied to the reverse surface. 

Each version of the work changes according to the imagery depicted in locally sourced gift paper, and the spatial conditions of display, producing a shifting atlas of reveries encapsulated in low-cost gift decorations. 

The decorative patterns emerge through absorption, folds, tensions, overlaps, and transparencies. Floral, festive, childish, vernacular, and commercial motifs remain suspended beneath the surface as unstable visual residues. The decorations persist as latent presences — redirecting attention toward daily choreographies of fast consumption and fleeting desires. 

Tape, joins, wrinkles, linseed oil, and material fatigue remain visible throughout, resisting formal resolution and maintaining the work in a state of exposure and exhaustion. The linseed oil continues to alter transparency and color along the duration of the exhibition, while the tape creates iridescence and reflections depending on the viewer and the shifting light, turning the papers and their decorations into an ever-changing environmental painting.
