Untitled (Not aspiring to be a picture frame), 2025, 32×6×4cm, found frameless picture frame screw clips, screws, on found laminated plywood fragment from the back of a cabinet, signs of time and usage, wood, aluminium
Losing their function, the found frame clips became minimal sculptural elements. As they enter in dialogue with a cropped piece of disused furniture, what appears is a fragment of deconstructed and recomposed domesticity.
The artwork questions the role of images, the idea of representation and decoration, and critically alludes to the iper-present and iper-fast circulation and functionalization of images.
